Having a dog well trained in obedience makes all the difference. Socializing with kids, adults, other animals, and different environments will make life so much more enjoyable. Lead training, off lead, sit, stay, crate training, load and unload a vehicle, as well as, recall will allow you to go out in public with confidence. At K9 Assist we will start training our or your puppies at 8 weeks old. By doing this, we eliminate bad behavior before it begins.
Getting a dog professionally trained offers numerous benefits, both for the dog and its owner. Professional training helps ensure that your dog develops good behavior, socializes well with other animals and people, and learns essential commands for safety and control. Additionally, a well-trained dog is typically more confident and less anxious, making them more enjoyable companions. For owners, professional training can foster a stronger bond with their pet, reduce stress, and create a more harmonious living environment. It’s an investment that pays off in a well-behaved, happy dog that enhances your life in many ways.
Our Boarding and Training service starts at $125.00 a day for 1 to 2 weeks or a 30-day training for $100.00 a day.
Our Day Training Service is $100.00 a day for 2 to 3 weeks,
Our In-Home Assessment is $150. This is where we determine your dog’s training needs. If training is needed, 1 to 2 lessons per week will be scheduled for $150 each lesson. These will be in-home training sessions that include owner participation.
We recommend starting training when your dog is between 8 to 10 weeks old, though we also work with older dogs. We require a 30-day commitment for our Boarding and Training service. After the first week, we will invite you to visit your dog and begin familiarizing you with the training process.
We focus on basic obedience, sit, stay, wait, socializing, recall and lead training.
At K9 Assist we personally take time to learn the personality, strengths and weaknesses of every pup/dog that comes through our kennel. Building on the personality and strengths.
As a dog trainer, my commitment is to help each dog and owner build a strong, positive relationship through effective training. My role goes beyond teaching commands; I focus on understanding your dog’s individual needs and behaviors, and tailoring the training to fit them. I’m dedicated to creating a supportive environment where your dog feels motivated and confident, while also guiding you through the process so you can reinforce good behavior at home. Throughout the training, I’m here to provide feedback, adjust techniques as needed, and ensure that both you and your dog are on the path to lasting success. My goal is to make sure your dog becomes a well-behaved companion and that you both enjoy the journey together.
In-house evaluation allows me to evaluate behavior in the home and address any concerns that the owner has. At this time, a recommended training program with be discussed. These sessions are a minimum of 1 hour in length.
This can be accomplished either at the owner’s home or at K9 Assist Kennels. There are other options for outings to build confidence and socialization. We would be working in crowded areas, noise and movements.
This allows me to work with the pup/dog individually, one on one consistently over a period by learning the dog’s personality, ability and strengths. Then I can build on this knowledge to train in the specific areas that the owner has requested. Specific areas we would focus on would be sit, stay, leave it and recall.
Boarding provides the basic needs, clean shelter, climate control, if needed. Inside/Outside Kennels with doggie door, feeding schedule, and activity time.
